Started the morning with an energy drink and an egg everything bagel with cream cheese then headed over the Verrazano Narrows Bridge (formerly the longest suspension bridge in the world) - over the Outerbridge and down the Garden State Parkway to the city by the sea:
Pulled into the Caesars AC valet (my home for this evening and checked in:[wpvideo lpRoxaVh] Made it to the room:[wpvideo bEz773e2] Just surprised some of the #ZorkFest crew at the @CaesarsAC Diamond Lounge - great seeing them all again and now relaxing a bit before we all head over to Chef Vola's for dinner. So apparently there was an East Coast earthquake - but I did not feel it - did you?
Alright - off to Chef Vola's:The food lived up to the hype - it was like dining at a friend's house - the conversation was lively and the cast of characters dining ranged from "friends of ours" to tourists - if you can get a reservation definitely go.While waiting for a cab outside, I noticed a cat hanging out on the porch of the house next door to Chef Vola's so I snapped a pic for @TippingOddslv.
Naturally, the $40 I had in my pocket must have fallen out because it was not there when we arrived back at Caesars - thanks Mitch! lolAfterwards - we all headed back to Caesars and played Pai Gow Poker at a Reserved table - I tried a few hands but it wasn't for me. Both of the dealers were a lot of fun. About two hours into playing @VitosCasino and his wife, along with @Mikey9s joined the party. We partied on and eventually headed to play some slots - all of us putting in $20 and seeing if we could hit anything - probably played about 30-40 minutes before the money dried up but had a good time:[wpvideo WfXJyGJt]We grabbed some food at the 24 hour - for lack of a better word - deli, in the Caesars lobby and bid a goodnight to everyone. Excellent first day of #ZorkFest.
