Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Herein, I document my adventures in various casinos. Hope you have a nice stay!

Vegas: August 2016 Day 9

Whenever someone from the room next door left, the sound the door made sounded just like the crickety closet doors in the room - I kept thinking someone was in my room - maybe they were, who knows - could've been a ghost 👻Getting my caffeine on right now ☕️ and going to take charge of the day ahead.---I decided to take my talents to Planet Hollywood and this happened...

Through sheer determination and perseverance, I made it to the Total Rewards counter and received my replacement card - however, I was told I could become a Platinum VIP by signing up for a Total Rewards Visa card - thanks but no thanks

I made my way to the PH High Limit room and bought in for 1600 (the dealer and floorperson thought it an "odd" amount to buy-in with but, who cares - they were friendly and the dealer's favorite movie, according to his name tag, was "Rush Hour") -- I alternated wins and losses on each successive hand until I finally made a double and a couple wins in a row -- then I stopped - the dealer remarked "why stop now, you've ONLY won $400" - my reply to him was "Sir, you have the honor of giving me the final $400 I needed to get back to even for this trip" - the floorperson looked over and as she smiled, said, "Get the hell out of here," motioning for me to get up and enjoy my day - I tipped the dealer and ventured out onto the Strip - EVEN STEVEN!!! 🎉👍🇺🇸

I enjoy walking the Strip each time I'm in Vegas to check out the sights, see what's new and just do some fun people watching

I then met up with my cousin to try out Wahlburgers -- ordered Dad's Basic Burger with a side of tater tots - not even close to the flavor and taste of Shake Shack with Shake Shack being less expensive to boot.

Walking back from early dinner: Now, the question remains, should I play anymore this trip now that I've gotten back to even...? I will ponder that while getting myself caffeinated

My buddy that lives in Vegas texted me and he wants to play some three card poker BUT, only wants to play where there are "hot dealers" - I wonder if that would be his concern if he was a blackjack player staring down the barrel of 6:5 blackjacks, hitting soft 17, doubling only 10 or 11...?-

Just met up with my buddy for a late dinner at Holsteins in the Cosmopolitan - pretty good - but still love Shake Shack. We headed to Aria, chatted with some dealers and floor people and my buddy played VP at the Lift bar

I think I am done for the day so far as gambling goes (even though I only gambled today for a total of about 5 minutes) and have not decided yet if I am done for the trip - breaking even from where I was felt amazing - just would be nice to get a win.

Either way, I'm going to sleep on it. Sweet dreams.
