Here is my brain activity right now after dealing with this:
As we left off yesterday, I had spent some time on the phone with the reservations department in an effort to correct what my casino host did to my reservations for NYE. Then, last night, I received the following email from my host (apparently, I was not going to sleep with sugar plums dancing in my head):
Was this not established over the past two weeks? Did I stutter…‽
I think that this – along with my previous emails and voicemails – made it quite clear that I did not want my host changing anything on my reservations. Am I wrong?
She replied this morning:
I read that response and figured hey, case closed – I then got ready to appear in Court this morning – naturally, email alerts popped up on my phone while I had an energy drink before heading out:
No, I did not “know” this – as that was never the case – the reservation desk and manager undid what the host did and the reservation was in the system properly after I got off the phone with them yesterday – why was it now changed again? Clearly – she is going into the system and attempting to change my reservation – according to @_Lucky45 a host will do this because they apparently will not get credit for a player’s play unless they, themselves book the reservation. As a player, IDGAF about this – I made my own reservation with the host via offers – and the reservation I made was the reservation I wanted – plus, I am not getting anything more than what the mailers give me by having a host.
So, while in Court this morning, I received these emails:
This was not true at all – I confirmed yesterday with the reservations clerk and manager that my original reservation was restored — the above itinerary comes nowhere close to what my original reservation was. Does my host not realize I know exactly what games she is playing?
Now out of Court, I called the reservations desk again to explain the situation – once again the friendliness and professionalism of the reservations clerk were unparalleled as she listened to the soap opera of my ordeal, asked me to hold while she spoke to a manager, and came back on the line to confirm that she was able to, once again, restore my original reservation – she also informed me she was putting a note in the system that nobody can change my reservation without my personal authorization.
I received an email confirmation and forwarded it to my host with the following statement:
I am not sure I should even call her – I wonder what she wants – any guesses?
